Lip Lift

Lip lift is a plastic surgery procedure and is also called “lip lift”. This procedure aims to lift the skin in the areas around the upper lip and nose, so that the lips appear higher and fuller. Lip lift is preferred to correct sagging or distant-looking lip lines in the upper lip, which usually occur due to the aging process or genetic factors.

The lip lift process may include these steps:

Determining the Incision Site: The plastic surgeon determines an incision location appropriate to the natural curves and lines between the upper lip and the areas around the nose, taking into account the facial structure of the person to be subjected to lip lift.

Skin Lift: The skin around the upper lip is lifted with incisions made at the designated incision site. This makes the lips appear higher.

Stitches: After the skin lift, the surgeon carefully stitches the incision to begin the healing process.

Lip lift is usually performed under local anesthesia and can take several hours. Mild swelling and bruising may usually occur after the procedure, but these symptoms will decrease over time.

A lip lift is a popular aesthetic procedure among individuals who want to restore a youthful, fuller appearance to lips and correct sagging upper lips or lip lines that appear distant.
